I spent my Easter break in the inner city of Leicester, which generally has more of an urban vibe to it despite being midland territory. Leicester is predominantly a rural area, the further out from town you stay, the better the perspective of what Leicester you'll have. Even in town, you'll are a great perspective of urban city life with shining glimpses of nature's beauty.
Leicester's actually a pretty interesting place, from first glances I must admit I didn't think much of it but there's more than meets the eye with the city. The small city is affiliated with historic moments such as the suffragette movement, Britain's textile industry, royal remains and even football.
During my visit I was pretty preoccupied, but I was able to catch some nature shots that I don't think would be too easy to find back in London.
